To say that "cancer sucks" is an understated truth. When my sister was
diagnosed in 2005 with Cancer I felt like the universe had just sent us
a huge horrible blow. When I found out that it was pancreatic cancer I
felt like that blow might very well be fatal. As a nurse, I know just
enough information about lots of things to make me nervous..one thing I
knew for sure was that pancreatic cancer had a high mortality rate.
Later on I found out that most people die within 4 months of diagnosis.
By the grace of god, my sister and our family have been spared that
tragedy. And so we fight, and we advocate for those families who have
lost their battle with pancreatic cancer, and are currently battling.

I think my sister is the most amazing woman in the world, and I
treasure everyday with her. I will advocate on behalf of pancreatic
cancer funding with the hope that other sisters and family members can
treasure many more days with their loved one.
Please help us make this Jazzed for Hope event a huge success..buy your tickets now.
